Are you a persuasive, enthusiastic and goal-oriented person person interested in the world of publishing and adverting sales? Tanner Publishing Co. is looking for an Accounts Director to sell print and digital advertising space for local city magazine Bowling Green Living.
This position is base plus commission.
Joining our sales team is an excellent way to enhance your career in advertising sales.
Responsibilities
You should be familiar with:
- The world of advertising
- Writing sales proposals
- Applying rate cards to further the sales process
You will be expected to:
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Make cold calls
- Prospect for new customers
- Service advertisers
Qualifications
- You should be articulate, persuasive, organized, energetic and a strong communicator.
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
- Passion for Bowling Green and promoting our community a must.
