Dr. Gordon Emslie, former provost and physics professor at WKU, logged his 10,000th flight hour on
September 24, 2019 at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport.
To celebrate the tremendous occasion, Dr. Emslie was met on the taxiway by a firetruck to shower
water over his plane when he arrived.
