Village Manor’s executive director, Heather O’Banion, is motivated to create the best experience for the people she serves.

Originally from Campbellsville, Heather received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Campbellsville University and her master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Western Kentucky University.

She was led to her field, thanks to her grandparents.

“They were my role models when it came to life, family and work,” she said. “Though they didn’t live in a retirement community, I wanted to contribute to the health care field so that I can be a part of making life better for seniors. The elders of today paved the road for so many things that we tend to take for granted.”

Heather believes success is through exhibiting servant leadership with those she interacts with—employees, residents and families alike. Though that sometimes means putting in extra hours and extra effort, she believes at the end of the day it’s always worth it.
